About the role

We built a virtual expert-curated Simulated Cell that can model mechanism of action of different drugs. Our cancer-specific drug library is in a continuous growth with new targeted therapies, chemotherapies, and additional drug treatments.

Your role would be:
•      
expand our unique Simulated Cell model
•      modeling and building new mechanisms, which could enlarge the biological, biochemical fidelity of the Simulated Cell
•      help us understand the chemical-level behaviour of drug candidates being analyzed
 
Key skills

> ability to comprehend, filter and process complex texts / scientific publications
> need to understand different experimental techniques (in vitro killing assays, etc.)
> should be able to express your ideas in algorithms in Python or R
> good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
> ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
 
Required qualifications

> at least a bachelor's degree in Chemoinformatics, Pharmacology or Chemical Engineering or from related fields of study
> on-going or finished postgradual studies are an advantage
> former research experience is essential
> experience with ADME/T measurement and modeling, PK/PD analysis, measurement methods of different drug effect profiles
> basic knowlegde in Python programming (or willingness to learn about it)
> work experience in molecular biology, molecular modeling, especially in cancer biology is an advantage
